Hands #57-61: A Couple of Large Pots

The final seven players begin Level 23, with blinds increasing to 10,000-20,000 with a 2,000 ante. Play will continue tonight until one more player is eliminated. The WPT Final Table starts tomorrow at 5:00 pm local time (11:00 am ET; 8:00 am PT).

Hand #57 – Casper Hansen has the button in seat 1, Martin Lundenius raises form early position to 48,000, Thiago Nishijima reraises from the cutoff to 120,000, Lundenius moves all in for 435,000, and Nishijima folds. Martin Lundenius takes the pot.

Hand #58 – Stefan Mattsson has the button in seat 2, Erik Friberg limps from early position for 20,000, Stefan Mattsson raises from the button to 104,000, and Friberg calls. The flop comes [7s6s3s], and both players check. The turn card is the [8d], Friberg bets 85,000, and Mattsson calls. The river card is the [4d], Friberg immediately bets 200,000, and Mattsson quickly calls. Friberg shows [KcQc] for king high, and Mattsson shows [8c8h] for a set of eights. Stefan Mattsson wins the pot.

Hand #59 – Andreas Vidal has the button in seat 4, and there is unknown action. (No flop.)

Hand #60 – Guy Sitbon has the button in seat 5, and Martin Lundenius moves all in from the small blind, winning the blinds and antes.

Hand #61 – Martin Lundenius has the button in seat 6, Casper Hansen raises under the gun to 56,000, and Stefan Mattsson calls from early position. Both players check to the river on a board of [As8h4h6c10d], Hansen checks, Mattsson bets 100,000, and Hansen folds. Stefan Mattsson takes the pot.
