Hands #71-75

The final seven players are still in Level 23, with blinds at 10,000-20,000 with a 2,000 ante. Play will continue tonight until one more player is eliminated. The WPT Final Table starts tomorrow at 5:00 pm local time (11:00 am ET; 8:00 am PT).

Hand #71 – Casper Hansen has the button in seat 1, and Erik Friberg moves all in from middle position, winning the blinds and antes. Friberg now has about 315,000.

Hand #72 – Stefan Mattsson has the button in seat 2, and Martin Lundenius raises under the gun to 60,000, winning the blinds and antes.

Hand #73 – Andreas Vidal has the button in seat 4, Thiago Nishijima raises from early position to 52,000, and Martin Lundenius calls from the big blind. The flop comes [10h9c7h], and both players check. The turn is the [6d], Lundenius bets 58,000, and Nishijima calls. The river is the [Jc], Lundenius bets 100,000, and Nishijima calls. Lundenius says, “Ace high,” and Nishijima shows [Js9h] for two pair, jacks and nines. Lundenius mucks, and Thiago Nishijima wins the pot.

Hand #74 – Guy Sitbon has the button in seat 5, and everyone folds to Erik Friberg, giving him a walk in the big blind.

Hand #75 – Martin Lundenius has the button in seat 6, and Erik Friberg moves all in from the small blind for 325,000, winning the blinds and antes.
