Perelberg Taking An Unconventional Approach to Short Stack Poker

Apr 8, 2009

Usually when a player is down to less than nine or ten big blinds at a final table it’s push or fold time.  Alex Perelberg is taking an unconventional approach here, making standard raises with his short stack.  In hand 46 it worked out for him as he stole the big blind from Trincher, however, it backfired the next hand when he opened the pot for a 80,000 chip raise only to later fold to a 70,000 bet on the turn.
