Reunion

Jacobo Fernandez was just moved to Chau Giang‘s table. The two, who both speak very broken English, sat next to one another at the final table of the LAPC, conversing like they actually understood what one another was saying.

When Jacobo arrived, Chau openly moaned with a half-smile on his face. “You’re not going to play slow, are you?” He asked Fernandez, who earned the nickname “Jacobo the Slow” in LA. “Oh Mr. Chau, you are a very good player” Jacobo answered, a total non sequitur. The conversation continues.
