Daniel Cates Eliminated by Scott Seiver

There is close to 500,000 in the pot, and the board reads J7368 when Scott Seiver moves all in from the big blind. Daniel Cates (pictured above) tanks on the button for a few minutes and calls all in for his tournament life.

Cates shows AJ, but Seiver holds JJ for a set. Cates is the first player eliminated today, and Seiver wins the pot to grow his stack to 1,060,000. He is now one of the chip leaders in the field.
