Shawn Cunix Won't Show His Bluff For Less Than $20

After a flop of K86, Nathan Bjerno checks the small blind, and Rachel Kranz bets 54,000. Tim Bishop calls from the hijack, and WPT Champions Club member Shawn Cunix moves all in from the button for about 540,000.

Bjerno quickly folds, and Kranz tanks for a while before she folds. Bishops folds as well, and Cunix takes the pot.

The WPT television cameras had surrounded the table while Kranz was tanking, and now Cunix looks at the camera and asks, “Should I show the cards for the cameras?” Cunix claims to have been bluffing with nine high, and Bishop says, “Go ahead and show your nine-seven to the cameras.” Cunix says he’ll show his cards for $20, and another player at the table counter-offers one of the Borgata $10 food vouchers that the players have been given for their dinner break.

Cunix turns down the counter-offer and mucks his cards. We’ll just have to believe him on this one.
