Iverson Snuffer, better known around here as Heisenberg based on his resemblance to Bryan Cranston’s character on the TV show “Breaking Bad”, raises to 14,000 from the cutoff and Champions Club member Jared Jaffee calls from the small blind.
The flop comes 1076 and Jaffee checks. Snuffer bets around 20,000 and Jaffee calls.
The turn brings the 3 and Jaffee checks again. Snuffer bets 42,000 and Jaffee check-raises all-in for an additional 160,000, having Snuffer covered by around 20,000.
Snuffer thinks for a couple of minutes. As he deliberates tablemate Zo Karim remarks to tablemate Athanasios Polychronopoulos, “Jaffee really is beautiful when he is all in.” Polychronopoulos knowingly nods.
Jaffee eventually offers to show Snuffer his hand if he folds. Snuffer does fold and Jaffee reveals A6 for a pair and the nut flush draw. Snuffer claims to have folded K-10.
“Nice hand, Sweet Pea,” James Calderaro calls out from the other side of the table.
It appears Jaffee isn’t just wowing his competitors with his poker skill, he is wooing them with his charm as well.
Jared Jaffee – 315,000
Iverson Snuffer – 140,000
