We just witnessed a very interesting hand which resulted in Jens Lakemeier raking in a massive pot. The action started on Ivan Stefanovic who raised to 2,700 from the cutoff and Benjamin Spiehs three-bet from the small blind to 7,900.
The action was now on Jens Lakemeier in the big blind and after about 20 seconds he four-bet to 13,000. Stefanovic folded right away and Spiehs immediately tosse in the chips to make the call.
The flop showed J5T and both players quickly checked. On the turn the 9 hit and Spiehs checked to Lakemeier again who bet 13,000 this time around.
Once again Spiehs snap-called the bet and on the river the Q completed the board. Spiehs moved all in right away for about 33,000 and Lakemeier wasted no time making the call.
Confidently Spiehs showed K9 and even after Lakemeier showed his winning KQ for a flopped flush the former thought he had won. When the dealer started pushing the pot towards Lakemaier Spiehs had to do a double take before realizing he was headed for the exit.
Lakemeier now sits on around 140,000 chips.
