A Short Day for Frank

Mar 14, 2015

Christopher FrankChristopher Frank bought in today for the first time, and it didn’t turn out too well. We just lost the current WPT National Vienna champion, the even which he took down in October of last year for €77,000.

Manig Loeser gave us the info on Frank’s bustout who started his final hand with just 20 big blinds. Frank raised from early position and Josef Klinger called from the big blind.

The flop brought out Q4spade5spade and Klinger checked to Frank who bet 1,800. Klinger moved all in and Frank called holding ace-queen with the ace of spade. Klinger had QspadeJspade and the turn gave him a flush.

Frank wasn’t able to improve to a better flush and he hit the rail while Klinger sits on a big stack worth around 170,000.
