Thomas Bichon started the final table as one of the short stacks, but after he just doubled through Sotirios Koutoupas he’s now one of the real contenders.
Hand #1: On the first hand of the day it was Konstaninos Nanos who raised to 50,000 from the cutoff and he took down the blinds and antes.
Hand #2: Thomas Bichon raised to 48,000 under the gun and Koutoupas called from the button. Bichon bet 38,000 on the AJ9 flop and picked up the pot.
Hand #3: Things heated up on the third hand when Koutoupas raised to 50,000 from the cutoff and Bichon called from the big blind. The flop brought out Q95 and Bichon check-called 57,000 after which the turn was the Q. Bichon check-called another 88,000 and the river was the 6.
Bichon checked again on the river and Koutoupas bet 185,000 after which the Frenchman moved all in for 494,000 total. Koutoupas called and Bichon showed Q9 for the second nuts while Koutoutpas mucked his K3.
Thomas Bichon – 1,408,000
Sotirious Koutoupas – 588,000
