WPTDS San Diego heads-up final contestant Daniel Schreiber has some history at the poker tables. He won a World Series of Poker gold bracelet just shy of his 22nd birthday, and he was the fifth youngest player ever to accomplish that at the time. The event he won was the $5,000 heads-up championship at the 2007 WSOP, so he will be a tough test for Jon McGowan in the final match. Schreiber was introduced to poker by his friend and fellow StarCraft pro Bertand “ElkY” Grospellier. He was attending the University of Cincinnati to earn a degree in engineering when he started playing poker, and he decided to drop out of school due to his poker success. Schreiber now has $698,345 in career live tournament earnings, and he will push that well past $700,000 today no matter where he finishes.
