A huge hand took place on a table full of action, featuring players as lively as Ben Kett and Alex Lindop. Both were involved pre-flop, after an opening bet of 400 was called by four players then squeezed up to 1500 by Kett, which again was called right around the table. We’re at blinds of 75/150 and there was over 7700 in the pot before a community card had been dealt!
The flop came and everyone checked what looked a board scarier than some of the costumes on display at last night’s Hallowe’en Players Party!
On the turn of Lindop led the betting second to act, popping in 3800 chips, roughly half the pot. This was only called by Alan Vinnicombe, although Ben Kett would remark to us later that he folded a very big pair. the river of led to another bet from Lindop, this time to 4775. Vinnicombe called and Lindop turned over for the flopped straight. But it was no match for Vinnicombe’s [pcKdTh[/pc] – a full house on the turn.
