Sean Drake(pictured) and Russell Garrett are involved in heads up action with a completed board reading . The pot is built to 4,700 and Drake is first to act. He bets 2,500 only to have Garrett make it 7,000 to go from the button.
Drake thinks for a moment before moving all in over the top. Garrett instantly calls for his own tournament life but is quickly defeated after seeing Drake’s for a full house of jacks full of kings. Garrett tosses his hand into the muck and Drake scoops a massive pot.
“I had a straight in case you were wondering,” Garrett says to us as he makes his way out of the tournament area. “I had ace-queen.”
With this victory, Drake is now sitting pretty with about 74,000 in chips.
