Nebil CardosoHand #39: Chris Yong opened to 225,000 and got a call from Nabil Cardoso. The flop of Heart 6Spade 6Heart 7 was checked by both men, as was the turn Club 7, but the river of Club 7 saw a 1.2m bet from Yong take it down.

Hand #40: Cardoso called and saw a flop of Club QHeart 4Heart 6 against Chris Yong in the big blind. Cardoso bet the flop to 100,000 and took it away.

Hand #41: Cardoso called from the button with Spade 9Spade 10 and Cruz checked. The flop of Club 5Club 8Spade Q was checked by Cruz but Cardoso made it 200,000, Cruz raised to 580,000 and was called by Cardoso to a turn of Club Q, making Cruz’s flush. Cruz’s bet of 600,000 got a quick fold.

Hand #42: Yong opened to 225,000 with Spade KSpade 3 and Cruz three-bet to 650,000 with Spade QClub 10, getting Cardoso to fold, but Yong 4-bet… only for Cruz to shove all-in… and get an instant fold! What. Just. Happened?

Hand #43: Cardoso called with Heart 10Spade 5 and Yong checked with Spade 10Diamond 4 to a flop of Heart JDiamond ASpade 7, whereupon Cardoso’s bet got a fold. Is the chip leader Chris Yong rattled following that 4-bet fold hand before?

Hand #44: All three players limped to a flop of Spade 7Spade 2Club J. Nabil Cardoso bet 185,000 on the flop with Spade KSpade 10 and both his opponents mucked rags.

Hand #45: Cardoso called with Spade 7Diamond 4 and Yong checked with Club 9Diamond 6 in the big blind. The flop of Club KSpade 10Club 6 saw Cardoso bet 150,000 and that was called. The turn of Spade 9 saw Cardoso bet 500,000 with 7-high, but Chris Yong called. The river of Spade 6 saw Yong make a full house, and Cardoso’s all-in bluff was called quick as it could possibly be! An amazing bluff, doomed from the moment it left his lips.
