Glenn Lafaye

Sam Khalilieh opens to 600 from early position, WPT Champions Club member Will Failla calls from the next seat over, Corey Hochman three-bets to 2,750 from the hijack, and Glenn Lafaye (pictured) four-bets shoves from the button for about 34,000. Khalilieh calls, Failla folds, and Hochman folds.

Khalilieh: Spade KHeart K
Lafaye: Spade AHeart A

The flop falls Diamond ADiamond QSpade J to give Lafaye a set of aces, though Khalilieh picks up a straight draw. The Heart 5 turn changes nothing, but the Spade 10 river gives Khalilieh an ace-high straight to eliminate Lafaye.

“Need to take a picture of this so that people believe me,” Lafaye tells the table, before making his exit.

“Corey, were you ahead preflop?” asks/jokes Failla.

“I had the 4-7 offsuit,” replies Hochman.

Sam Khalilieh – 85,000 (425 bb)
Glenn Lafaye – Eliminated
