Nick Maimone Pays $200 to Daniel Strelitz to See If He Made the Right Fold

Garrett Greer raises under the gun to 18,000, Nick Maimone calls UTG+1, and Daniel Strelitz reraises from the big blind to 72,000. Greer folds, and Maimone calls.

, Strelitz moves all in, and Maimone goes into the tank for a very long time, saying, “This is really tough. That’s a really, really good play.”
Maimone thinks about his situation out loud. “That’s 700K if I win, and 210K if I lose. Well, out if I lose.” Maimone has 210,000 left behind, and that’s what he’d be left with if he folds.
Maimone thinks some more. “I can’t beat kings.”
After a total of about seven minutes, Maimone folds, and negotiates with Strelitz to pay him $200 to show his cards — 
for a pair of kings. Strelitz takes the pot.
