Nicholas Verderamo Doubles Through Jose Montes

The battle between second and third place continues to shift and Nicholas Verderamo now holds the upper hand against Jose Montes.

Montes opened for 175,000 on the button and Verderamo shoved for 1,340,000 from the small blind. Montes called once Karim Bevans folded his big blind and reluctantly nodded when he saw Verderamo turn over . Montes was behind with  and failed to hit anything worthwhile on the  runout.

Verderamo is back to 2,700,000 and Montes is playing approximately 1,650,000.
