Going into the third and final day of the WPTDeepStacks Amsterdam it is Scottish player Richard Milne who leads, and is the only player currently holding a seven-figure stack. Although tablemates Pim van Wassenberg and Fredrick Andersson flirted with the million-chip mark, Milne bagged 1,058,000 to lead the final nine ahead of tomorrow’s final table.
The Scot made a point early in Level 16 of saying that he “only played premiums,” but his chip lead was assured when his pocket fours saw off the Ace-Jack of Josep Galindo in 10th place to confirm the final tablists.
The day saw 103 players advancing, but only 31 would make the money. Unfortunately Andreas Klatt, who leads the MonteDam Swing leaderboard wasn’t one of them as he departed at the hands of eventual final table bubble boy Galindo.
The unfortunate money bubble boy was Herman Hansen who ran his pocket Nines into the Kings of Fatih Aydin.
Names to make the money include Day 1A chip leader Johan Strijbis (29th – €2,180) and Day 1B chip leader Dean Arsenie (13th – €5,345). Others include US WPTDeepStacks regular Loni Harwood (26th – €2,550) and WPT Champion Juha Helppi (16th – €4,475).
With the final table confirmed, here are the players and their chip stacks:

We will be back tomorrow at the slightly earlier time of 3p.m. and will eagerly watch the final nine as they play down to a winner here at the Holland Casino, Amsterdam.
