Day 1C comes to an end with 17 players remaining, and the chipleader is David Avanesyan (pictured) with 304,000 in chips (38 big blinds).
With 208 entries today, the total for the tournament is 675 and counting. This was the third of 14 starting flights, and the tournament is on pace to easily surpass the guaranteed prizepool of $1,000,000.
The final 12% of each starting field finishes in the money, guaranteed at least $800 each, and the final 8% advance to Day 2. Today that happened with 15:50 remaining in Level 18, with blinds at 4,000-8,000 and a 1,000 ante. Here are the official chip counts for the 17 survivors:

Day 2 begins Tuesday, May 30th at 1:00 pm, with the nine-handed final table (which will be live-streamed at WPT.com) beginning at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, May 31st.
