The Great Dane Gus Hansen Takes His Seat

Gus Hansen (pictured) has been playing the high stakes cash games in Bobby’s Room while the WPT Five Diamond World Poker Classic has been playing out.

However, Hansen did register for the event and had his stack blinding down to 27,700 before he decided to take a break from the cash games to join the tournament.

On Hansen’s first hand, he looked down at his hole cards in middle position and opted for a raise to 1,800.

Everyone swiftly folded, and Hansen collects the pot to move back to his original starting stack.

“Oh my God!” utters Hansen as he peeps to his left to see Allen Cunningham sitting a few seats over.

They both shake hands, and the dealer puts the cards in the air for the next hand.

“Oh, I can’t play those!” announces Hansen as he flicks his cards to the muck.
