Just 12 players remain in the WPTDeepStacks Berlin, with Adda52 Team Pro Kunal Patni joint chip leader with German Finn Zwad.
In a whirlwind level right at the conclusion of Day 2, both Patni and Zwad sent players to the rail and both ended on 1,965,000. This is the first time anyone here has come across this situation, especially so deep in a tournament like this.
Patni has previously attended WPTDS festivals in Amsterdam and Valkenberg, and is now looking to secure his first final table here in the German capital.
Also through to the final day is top French pro Fabrice Soulier. Soulier, whose performances in Amsterdam earlier this season helped him to make the MonteDam Swing Leaderboard, will be looking for a good start as he comes into the day with just over 13 big blinds.
