Philipp Lutkemeier Eliminated by Davidi Kitai

Jan 12, 2018

Davidi Kitai spent most of the day just about minding his business on a table with Gerald Karlic and doubled up earlier. Just now, Kitai raised to 4,800 in the cutoff and Philipp Lutkemeier defended his big blind. Lutkemeier check-shoved the Heart KSpade QHeart 8 flop for around 33,000 and Kitai called.

“Come on,” Lutkemeier said but his wish fell on deaf ears with the blank Spade A turn and Club 9 river. Kitai moved up to around 160,000, comfortably above the average, and the Belgian Triple Crown winner remains in contention to add another WPT title to his resume.
