Davidi Kitai spent most of the day just about minding his business on a table with Gerald Karlic and doubled up earlier. Just now, Kitai raised to 4,800 in the cutoff and Philipp Lutkemeier defended his big blind. Lutkemeier check-shoved the flop for around 33,000 and Kitai called.

“Come on,” Lutkemeier said but his wish fell on deaf ears with the blank turn and river. Kitai moved up to around 160,000, comfortably above the average, and the Belgian Triple Crown winner remains in contention to add another WPT title to his resume.
