There is something happening at Anne Loughlin’s table and no one is quite sure. Just before the break she got into a hand against Alejandro Perez.
Perez opened and Loughlin three-bet to 16,000. Perez then four-bet to 38,000 and Loughlin called. The flop came and Perez continued for 26,000. Loughlin called.
The turn was the and Perez checked. Loughlin moved all in and Perez folded.
“I thought you had Aces,” said Loughlin, who coolly showed for quads.
Not long after the resumption of play, and with the action on a Perez was again involved in a hand against Loughlin. Perez bet 24,500 on the river and Loughlin raised to 55,000. Perez folded face up apparently in disgust.
“You had a straight?” said Loughlin, only for her to fling face up for all to see.
