Martijn Gerrits was standing on the rail and in no hurry to return to his seat while the final level of Day 1b had already started. A quick look revealed that no chips were left over there and Marijn Van Puffelen had a big stack.
Gerrits was kind enough to provide the details and explained that he flopped top pair and top kicker with ace-queen on a queen-high flop before an ace appeared on the river. Gerrits check-called all streets and was shown a set of queens.
Just now, Louis Salter got into a bigger pot with Kayhan Roshanfekr that saw the former raise it up and pick a call by the Norwegian. On the flop both players checked, Salter then continued for 2,800 on the turn. Roshanfekr called and did so again for 8,800 on the river. Salter rolled over – you might have guessed it already – the for a flopped set of queens and Roshanfekr mucked.
Marijn Van Puffelen – 115,000
Louis Salter – 87,000
Kayhan Roshanfekr – 10,000
