Alex Keating Eliminated by Ramin Ramazi on WPT Maryland Bubble

Sep 23, 2018

The action folds to Alex Keating (pictured above) on the button, and he moves all in for 83,000. Ramin Ramazi calls from the big blind, and the cards are tabled.

Keating: Spade 9Heart 9
Ramazi: Diamond AHeart Q

With Keating at-risk and plenty of players sweating the action, the dealer spreads a Club 3Club QHeart 2 flop.

Keating immediately begins collecting his belongings as the Spade 4 arrives on the turn, and before the river is dealt, Keating made a hasty move towards the exit.

The river lands the Diamond 2, and Keating is eliminated on the WPT Maryland money bubble.

The remaining 70 players are now guaranteed a $5,801 payday. Most fortunate of this is Alex Rocha (pictured below) who was due in the big blind the next hand on Keating’s table and had a stack of just 9,000 in chips.

Ramin Ramazi – 640,000
Alex Rocha – 9,000
