Talesh Patel Folds Kings on the River to Ping Liu, Who Only Shows a Five

With the board showing on the turn and a little more than 250,000 already in the pot, Talesh Patel checks UTG+1, Ping Liu bets 130,000 from the button, and Patel calls.

The river card is the , Patel checks, Liu moves all in for about 615,000, and Patel uses one of his Time Chips to tank for nearly a minute with about 400,000 behind.

Patel folds and says, “If I didn’t grind all day, I’d call. I think I’m good.”

Patel shows , and Liu doesn’t show his cards, but he holds on to them and moves them around with his hands as the dealer pushes him the pot.

Patel smiles and says, “He wants to show!”

Liu eventually flashes one card — the — and then mucks.
