Day 1C of WPTDeepStacks New York attracted 117 entries, and after 15 levels of play, only 23 survived to join the field on Day 2. The big stack belongs to Lou Procopio (pictured), who bagged up 352,000 (88 big blinds), which puts him fourth overall behind Day 1A chipleader Jason Holcomb, who bagged 515,000.
The total field size is 327 entries across all three flights, and there are 54 players returning tomorrow for Day 2 with an average chip stack of 182,000 (46 big blinds). The final 41 players will finish in the money, guaranteed at least $1,635 each, and first place is worth $70,865.
