Lam Nguyen Calls an All-In Bet That Dominick Sannino Never Made

In the last hand of the previous level, with the final board showing , the action is on Dominick Sannino in the small blind, and he is thinking about what to do. Lam Nguyen waits in the cutoff for him to act.

Sannino says something, and Nguyen thought he said, “All in,” and Nguyen snap-calls and reveals for a turned nine-high straight. But Sannino didn’t say “All in,” or make any bet, so now Sannino has free information about Nguyen’s cards, and Nguyen has to call if Sannino bets.

Sannino thinks for a bit, shares a laugh with the table, and then folds face up for two pair, nines and sevens. Nguyen shows his once again to take the pot with his nine-high straight.
