Sera Ota Chips Up

Sera Ota is one of several women in today’s field and one of the few participants from Japan as she sits one table over from Takao Shimizu. The start into Day 1b has been pleasant for Ota so far, who just wins a three-way pot and leaves Aaron Lim on around half the starting stack.

Ota bets the turn for 2,500 and picks up one caller, Lim opts to fold. The follows on the river and Ota now bets 5,700 to shut down all further resistance.
