Corey Hochman opens with a min-raise in early position, and Saied Zamiri three-bets to 52,000 from the next seat over. Daiane Mendes calls from the cutoff, and action folds to the Christopher Bolek in the big blind. He has 174,000 chips remaining, and he squeezes all in. Hochman folds out of the way, Zamiri calls, and Mendes calls as well to create side action with Bolek at risk.
The flop comes [7d4d3s], and Zamiri instantly announces that he is all in for 436,000.
"Oh my god!" Mendes says. "Oh my god… oh my god…" With shaking hands, she counts down her stack to assess the potential damage, clearly struggling with the decision she’s facing.
After several long minutes of agony, she calls with the covering stack, and the cards are shown down:
Bolek: [KhKs]
Zamiri: [JhJd]
Mendes: [9c9s]
Bolek is in front and a favorite to triple up (and then some).
The turn and river come [Tc] and [7s], and Bolek locks up the pot with his kings up. Zamiri loses the main pot but still increases his stack, while Mendes drops a big chunk and sinks back into the pack.
