After a raise from Mark Roovers under the gun, an early-position player, Gilbert Diaz on the hijack, Dino Marsani on the cutoff and big blind Andrew Martin called, making it five-handed to the flop.
Roovers continued 5,000 on the , with 11,000 behind, and the player on his left called.
Diaz then raised to 12,000, which resulted in calls from both Marsani and Martin. Back on Roovers and he moved all-in for a total of 16,000. After the other four players had made up the difference, they went on to the turn.
It was the and it checked to Diaz, who bet 13,500. Marsani responded by moving all in for 75,000. Martin made the call, and the other two quickly got out of the way.
Roovers showed pocket , Marsani showed for the straight and Martin revealed for two pair. Marsani was ahead but it was a sweat and he started to call out for a “brick.”
The poker Gods obliged with a completing the board and Marsani has an enormous stack now.
