The former WPT Diamond Championship winner, Natalya Nikitina, is turning back the time. She has experienced a barnstorming last level that sees her perched on the shoulder of Alexey Rybin at the top of the charts.
Firstly, she eliminated Elias Abou Saleh after the pair got it in on a flop of [Qc] [Tc] [4h]; Nikitina with the check-raise jam holding [Ac] [6c] and Saleh calling with [Ad] [Ah]. The [6d] on the turn changed nothing but the [5c] on the river certainly did. Saleh was out and Nikitina moved up to 407,000.
Then on a board of [Kc] [4c] [2h] [Kh] Nikitina got it in with Samy Zakhary. It was [Ah] [Kd] for Nikitina and [Ks] [Qc] for the poor unfortunate Zakhary. The [7h] on the river ending the action, Zakhary was eliminated and Nikitina moved up to 580,000.
