Roger Hairabedian was like a whirlwind yesterday. He quickly stormed the chip counts in a constant battle with Rami Shouman, before eventually losing the war. He’s back today and there doesn’t seem to be a Shouman like character at his table, so it will be interesting how he progresses. He’s started off well though. We have just seen him river a set of sixes and get paid to take his stack up to 45k.
Natalya Nikitina is the petit Russian who first came to our attention in 2011 when she defeated a tough field to win the €5,000 WPT Diamond Championship in the Aviation Club de Paris for $332,624.
Here she is in action.
There was an early position open to 300 and a flat on the button before Nikitina squeezed to 1,300 in the big blind. The initial raiser calls and the flatter folds.
Flop: [Kh] [8s] [7h]
Nikitina bets 2,000 and her opponent folds.
