Jesse Lonis Loses Ground

Ilyas Muradi raises to 450,000 in the cutoff and gets called by Jesse Lonis on the button. Francis Margaglione in the small blind has other plans and three-bets to 1.6 million. Both opponents fold and Margaglione drags in the pot with the words “not a bluff, my friend.”

Soon after, Muradi raises to 650,000 out of the small blind and Lonis three-bets to 1.7 million in the big blind. Muradi invests one of his time bank chips and calls.

The flop brings and Muradi checks. Lonis fires another 1.6 million and Muradi uses a second time bank chip during this hand. He then min-raises to 3.2 million and Lonis folds.
