Micha Hoedemaker has just told us about a great hand that he was involved in just prior to the break.
He opened up the action from the hijack holding [Ac] [Kc], and found a caller on the button. The flop rained down [Tx] [8x] [3x] (2 x spades), he checked, the button bet 3,600 and he called. The turn was the [Qd] and once again the action was check-call, this time for 7,800. The final card was the [6c], once again Hoedemaker checked, his opponent bet 49,000 and our hero went into the tank. He had around 90,000 behind and so the pot was a crucial one for him. He eventually calls with ace high and it’s good as his opponent shows king-jack.
