We join the action preflop when Alexander Lakhov raises and then calls the three-bet of Marc McLaughlin to 12,100. On the Flop [7c] [6d] [9c] the Russian check-calls 15,200 and checks again the Turn [Ks]. McLaughlin bets big with 35,400 and after 10 seconds Lakhov goes all-in.
The Canadian snap calls and turns over [6s] [6h], Lakhov shows [Kd] [Qd] and is already drawing dead. While the dealer does his duty and delivers the [4d] on the River, Lakhov smashes into his stack and the Chips fly across the table. He does apologize but some chips ended up in the stack of a short stack in Seat 5 and the floor was called.
"Do I get a penalty now? For a year?" says Lahkov and still watches the action when the tournament director tries to decipher the correct stack that needs to be shipped to McLaughlin. The short stack had just before tripled up for ~ 23,100 and after a few minutes the mess is cleared up. Immediately after the clock for the day is stopped.
