The miracle that we spoke of earlier has not materialised and Marvin Rettenmaier has been eliminated in the final throes of Day 1A.
After losing that all important flip against Petr Jelinek, Rettenmaier moved all-in on three consecutive occasions; got lucky in the first (KQ v AT on JJ333), got through on the second, and then got bullied out of the competition on the third.
Rettenmaier making a stand with [Ts] [5s], against the ace-king combos of Saar Wilf and Tobias Garp, when a king on the flop meant Rettenmaier will have to spend a few more euros when he re-enters on Day 1B.
