Firm Read Lands Jesus Martinez a Pot

Mike Maynard opens to 800 and Jesus Martinez three-bets to 2,500. Maynard calls to see the dealer fan out a  flop, he checks to Martinez who continues for 3,000 and Maynard calls.

The  turn card finds two checks and a  completes the board. Maynard reaches for chips, firing in 10,700 and Martinez hits the tank. Ultimately Martinez calls, “Good call, I have queen-high,” says Maynard and Martinez flips over , taking down the pot.
