We caught the tail-end of a big hand between Steve Buckner and Quan Tran before the dinner break, but waited until we could get additional details from Buckner before posting it here.
Buckner says he raised preflop, and got two callers, including Tran. The flop came , Buckner bet, and both players called.
The turn card paired the board with the , Buckner bet, and the other player raised to 22,000. Tran moved all in for about 160,000, Buckner called, and the other player folded, claiming he had pocket kings.
Tran showed for trip threes, but Buckner turned over for a full house, sevens full of threes.
Tran needed to catch the fourth three to stay alive, but the river card was the . Buckner won the pot with his full house to eliminate Tran.
