David Tang wins the inaugural WPT Australia, earning AUD $647,470 and a WPT Champions Trophy. Tang’s first prize amount includes an AUD $15,000 package that includes travel to Las Vegas and the winner’s US $10,400 entry into the season-ending WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas. In addition, Tang’s name will be engraved on the one-and-only Mike Sexton WPT Champion’s Cup alongside every other WPT champion from all 20 seasons.
