Sion Madar Misses His Draws, But Takes the Pot Anyway on a Seven-High Bluff

With the final board showing on the river, Sion Madar (pictured) bets 38,000 from middle position into a sizable pot, and Mathieu Choffardet goes into the tank in the cutoff for a long time.

Eventually, somebody at the table calls for a clock, and shortly after a floorperson arrives, Choffardet folds to forfeit the pot.

Madar shows his for a seven-high bluff (he missed his straight and flush draws) as he takes the pot. Choffardet seems upset with himself for folding once he sees Madar’s cards, quickly standing up and walking away from the table for a moment.
