Day 1B Ends with Nicolas Dumont Leading 28 Survivors

Photo:  Chipleader Nicolas Dumont bagged a whopping 913,000 in chips, which will be a tough number to surpass by players in the later flights.

After a nearly simultaneous elimination of three players, Day 1B came to an end with 28 players, who bagged and tagged their chips for Day 2 of WPT Prime Paris, which begins on Saturday at 12:00 noon CET.

The overwhelming chipleader is Nicolas Dumont, who went on a rush near the end of the day to finish with more than twice as many chips as anyone else in today’s flight.

There were 219 entries today for Day 1B, creating a two-day total of 404 and climbing, and the prizepool is already worth €387,840. There are three more starting flights over the next two days, and the prizepool will continue to grow.

Everyone who bags chips and advances to Day 2 will be in the money on Saturday. Here are the official chip counts of the 28 players who survived Day 1B:
