A huge field of 284 entries boarded the Destin Royale Friday with hopes of joining the 23 survivors from Day 1A in advancing to Day 2 of the WPT Prime India Main Event. In the end, just 36 of them would do that, with Ayush Garg bagging the day’s chip lead with 604,000.
Top 5 day 1B Chip Counts:
Ayush Garg (India) – 604,000
Jugol Java (India) – 528,000
Harshad Barve (India) – 498,000
Sudheer Chowdary (India) – 387,000

Day 1A chip leader Loveleen Bachhal remains the overall tournament chip leader with 740,000, but that number could be in danger Saturday with a huge turnout expected for Day 1C.
Also among the survivors are WSOP bracelet winner Abhinav Iyer, who doubled up just before the bubble burst to finish with 240,000, along with Pratibh Saluja who doubled through Barve on the stone bubble to avoid chopping a min-cash with bubble boy Siddhanth Kapoor and finish with 230,000 chips.
