Charan Kumar raises to 1,200 in middle position and gets called by the cutoff, who is short-stacked with just 4,300 chips. Manoj Adlakha then min-raises to 2,400 in the small blind and Kumar calls.

The short stack then moves all in for his 4,300 and gets calls from both players.

On the Heart 5Spade 4Spade 8 flop, Adlakha leads for 3,000 and gets raised to 10,000 by Kumar.

Adlakha calls and the Diamond 6 falls on the turn. Again Adlakha leads for 3,000, and again Kumar raises, this time all-in for 10,500. Adlakha calls and all three hands are revealed.

Manoj Adlakha: Spade ADiamond K

Kumar only needs to fade a seven on the river to lose the main pot to the short stack, but his set has the side pot locked up. The Club 3 comes on the river, sending the short stack to the rail while leaving Adlakha very short.

Charan Kumar – 58,000
Manoj Adlakha – 3,500
