The fourth edition of a World Poker Tour live event in India has found a champion in Prasit Chowdhury, who not only wins a six-figure cash prize but also a trip to the 2023 WPT World Championships in Las Vegas at the end of the year.
A total of 857 entries generated a prize pool of ₹50,648,700 ($618,832) and 107 players earned a portion of the cash prizes. Chowdhury was the chip leader at the end of Day 1c and Day 2 but endured a topsy-turvy ride to victory on the final table, which also featured WSOP bracelet winner Abhinav Iyer.
The WPT Prime tour will be heading to the Card Casino Bratislava in Slovakia in May 2023 next.
