Andrew Moreno Joins the Chip Leaders

Massoud Eskandari raises to 2,500 in middle position and gets calls from Andrew Moreno (pictured) in the hijack and Careen Foster in the small blind.

On the flop, Foster leads for 2,500 and gets a call from Eskandari before Moreno raises to 11,500. Foster folds, but Eskandari calls.

The two remaining players check the turn, but on the river, Eskandari bets 10,000. 

After a bit of pause, Moreno raises to 64,000, sending Eskandari into the tank. Eskandari cuts out calling chips, which represent most of his remaining stack, but after over a minute of thought, Eskandari opts to fold his hand to send the pot to Moreno.

With the win, Moreno joins the elite club of players in the field over 200,000 chips.
