Anthony Reategui Cracks Two Sets to Bust Two Players

Aug 24, 2012

(This hand happened late in the last level.)

After a flop of [KcJh7c], two players are all in (the cutoff and UTG) while Mari Lou Morelli (late position) and Anthony Reategui (early position) continue playing for a side pot.

The turn is the [3d], and both players check. The river is the [10s], and Reategui moves all in. Morelli thinks for a while before she folds.

Now it’s time to resolve the three-way all in. The under-the-gun player shows [JdJs] for a flopped set of jacks, and the cutoff turns over [KdKs] for a flopped set of kings.

But Reategui beats them both with his [AcQs] — he flopped a gutshot straight draw, and completed it on the river to finish with the nuts and win the entire pot.
