In the second round of hand-for-hand, two players busted at the same time to send the remaining 273 players into the money!
They have now started the bagging process and will return on Monday for Day 2.
Out in front for Day 1 B is Matias Gabrenja who caught fire late in the day and caught quads twice to propel him into the chip lead with 1,135,000. Close on his tail is Zyad Qasem with 1,133,000 who won this seat via the WPT Final Table Challenge last night.
Players will still have two more days to enter this tournament with Day 1C tomorrow at 11:00 am and Day 1D Sunday at 11:00 am.
A full chip count for Day 1B will be released in the morning so make sure to stay tuned on WPT.com!
