Day 2 of the WPT World Championship came to an end after Tyler Hirschfeld was eliminated in 481st place, his pocket aces falling to pocket jacks with a jack on the flop. The remaining 480 players are in the money, and they are all guaranteed at least $18,700 each.
Day 3 begins tomorrow (Sunday) at 12:00 noon, with the field scheduled to play six 90-minute levels. Action ended tonight with 36 minutes remaining in Level 15, with blinds at 10,000-15,000 and a big blind ante of 15,000.
The full list of chip counts and the Day 3 seat draw will be released later tonight, but in the meantime, here is an unofficial look at the top of the leaderboard:
