Matthew Widdoes Spikes River to Double Through Yunkyu Song

Matthew Widdoes opens to 50,000 and is immediately three-bet by Cody Wiegmann to 190,000, who in turn is four-bet to 315,000 by Yunkyu Song. 

Widdoes then five-bet jams for 450,000 total and Wiegmann goes deep into the tank. He then proceeds to use four time banks before he eventually announces a fold and the action is then back on Song who quickly calls.

Widdoes is well in the lead going into this battle, but the flop of is not his friend as it gives Song a set of tens for a big lead. The turn doesn’t help Widdoes, but the on the river sure does as it gives him top set of queens to take down the big pot for the double.
